Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
In a separate larger bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined
Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter-sugar mixture, and beat until smooth and creamy
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chips
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges but still slightly soft in the center
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
Enjoy these delicious brownie cookies with a glass of milk
