Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard until well combined
While whisking continuously, slowly drizzle in the extra-virgin olive oil until the vinaigrette emulsifies and thickens
Add the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the mixture and whisk until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed by adding more salt, pepper, or balsamic vinegar to your preference
Transfer the balsamic vinaigrette to an airtight container or bottle, and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use
